Focus: Matthew 17:9 - KJV
9. And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
Matthew 17:1-9
Anytime the Lord releases a vision to man, it speaks of future events and therefore, ought to be kept in wraps until the time it is meant to speak. When the enemy has glimpse of the intendment behind a vision, he works assiduously to scuttle the vision from being performed. But every vision emanating from the Lord shall surely speak when it is time; it can never be scuttled but it can be delayed and the recipient may suffer a bit under the burden of the enemy. If, however, the recipient is wise enough to keep it hidden until it speaks by itself, then will he enter into the performance without suffering much indignation from the enemy’s camp. God’s purpose can never be thwarted, no matter what.
Joseph had the grace to see ahead that he would be a ruler and that those who he was bowing to would bow to him. The enemy made him to suffer so much but, in the end, the vision spoke. The mind of God was to give Jesus Christ a name above all names; He revealed the glory to three of Jesus’ disciples and showed them how He preferred Jesus to all that came before Him and commended Him to mankind as the one to listen to and follow. Jesus knew that if the vision be revealed at the time, the enemy would make serious attempts to scuttle the performance of the glory showing to the world. Hence, Jesus in His wisdom, warned the disciples from making the same known until the time appointed for witnessing, when He may have transited already. Even at that, from the time this was revealed, the enemy has never relented from making it seem that He is an impostor and not better than any of the earlier servants. Imagine if it had been revealed earlier, then would it have been said that He coached the disciples to say so.
The Lord is teaching us to know that every vision we receive is for an appointed time in future and that when the time comes, the vision would surely find its voice and speak. From this day therefore, every vision the Lord has given unto you of your great future that is yet to speak because of the activities of the enemy shall find its voice right now in Jesus’ name; wherever the Lord has purposed for you shall come to you on a platter of gold in Jesus’ name. Every mistake of the past that has caused the enemy to know and therefore lay siege, are erased. You will finish well and strong and surely fulfil destiny in Jesus’ name. No matter what the devil may be up to, the throne and glory prepared for you by the Lord you will attain, in Jesus’ name. Every sign of regret in your journey are cancelled and removed now, in Jesus’ name.
SOLUTION: Mum is the word. Whenever the Lord gives you a revelation, unless He sends you to someone with it, please keep your mouth regarding it. Let it speak for itself at the appointed time.
Please pray:
· Give thanks to God for His visions for your life whether they have spoken or not
· Ask God to please make all visions lingering over your life find voice and come to performance speedily
· Pray God to please aid you to bridle your tongue so that you may not divulge secrets that may cause the visions of your destiny to be affected by the enemy
· Ask God to please help you to finish well and strong despite divulging some of the visions in times past
· Ask for your daily bread today
