Let God Take You Over

Focus: Psalms 37:5 - KJV

5. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Proverbs 16:2-9

It is pride that makes a man turn his back on his creator. He assumes in his heart that he can do better without the Lord’s input. Meanwhile, there is a way that seems right to a man, the end of which is destruction. Those who be not proud submit their way unto God and leave it with Him, trusting Him to bring them to pleasant ending. The proud keep making effort without countenancing God and keeps getting the same lousy result.

David was faced with a serious debacle in Ziklag. Even his lieutenants were crossed with him for no fault of his. But he put his way in God’s hand and received direction from Him. In the end, he did not only recover what he lost and more, those who wanted to stone him returned to be his followers and servants.

All the Lord is asking is that we entrust Him with that which we desire. For as long as it is godly and matches the biography the Lord has prepared for us, He shall bring it to pass. No amount of struggling or manipulative stride will bring performance to our desires. Except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that builds it. Let’s not engage in vain laboring. Rather, let’s put our ways in God’s hands from today.

Please pray:

In the name that is above every other name, from this very day, I cancel every thought and action that keeps me moving without making progress. I receive grace to make great progress in life, in Jesus’ name. Every arrangement to make me to be full of myself rather than submitting my ways unto God are shattered and destroyed today, in Jesus’ name. I step into the season of performance of God’s promises for my life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Please share with others. God bless you.
