Learn God’s Way

Focus: Psalms 25:4-5 - KJV

4. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. 5. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psalms 25:1-7

A lot of people assume they know God and thereby, His ways. In the meantime, God is a Spirit who carries no visible physique except at times to make things vivid to some, which physique is not in strict sense, His being. Unless the Lord Himself shows a man His ways, there is no finding it out. It is true that when we seek, we find; nonetheless, when it comes to the way of the Lord, it is better discovered from revelation by God Himself. Any other way may lead to oblivion or a lie. And once it is not the way of God, it is not; and nothing good that is of God, can flow therefrom.

Two characters in the Bible point us to the light of this position. First there was a man called Saul, the king. He had found that God’s ways cannot be attained through witches and such similar media. But, when he ran into real problems and could not find a way, he sought to know God’s way through the witch at Endor. The end was his destruction. Another Saul (of Tarsus), knew not God’s ways but assumed he did and was in fervent persecution of the Lord. One day, while engaged in his wickedness, the Lord Himself collided with him and redirected him unto His own ways. His end was indeed, glorious.

The Lord wants us to seek His ways from Him. Those who veer to other media to search for the ways of God are susceptible to deceit and are not likely to make much progress. God is beckoning on us all to come unto Him with our labors and heavy ladens so that He may give us rest. Let us make it a habit from today, to pray like David prayed, so that we may not miss our ways. Wait on the Lord for answers.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for your faithfulness in all your ways. I wait on you today and always that you may please show me your ways and teach me your paths. Please teach me your truth that I may thrive in your salvation. Let this day be to me a day of great revelation of your ways like you redirected Saul of Tarsus so that I may also finish well and strong, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
