Focus: Isaiah 51:1 - KJV
1. Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
Isaiah 51:1-3
Thanks be to God for bringing us to the very last day in the eleventh month of the year. Today, the Lord enjoins us to hear His call and seek Him, particularly those who are believers. It is true that the world has been in turmoil and things have really gone awry over time affecting many countries and people. If only we can look unto Him who is our source, our originator and the one who has our blueprint, then will He bring us out of the current crisis without stress.
A time was when Samaria faced real trouble because of the Syrian siege. It got so bad that things were expensive and people were at the verge of cannibalism. But, when the righteous looked unto God and heard Him, within twenty-four hours, everything turned around that there was so much affluence and surplus in the same land. The Lord that did it then is still God today and can do it again if we hearken and look unto Him.
What the Lord looks out for to turn our wilderness into Eden and our desserts into the garden of the Lord is that we surrender to Him. If our strength has not been able to carry us all these while and our wisdom has failed, it is important that we do things in another way by turning to the Lord and letting Him know that we are His and will embrace His righteousness instead of iniquity. Let us therefore, wait on Him from this day and submit to Him completely in all our doings.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for making me see the last day of November. Thank you for all you have done from January till now and for not allowing the wicked to get me dipped. Please, by your mercy, help me and every believer to hearken to you more today and look to you for a lasting solution to the problems ravaging our societies. And as we look to you, please do for us greater than you did at the gate of Samaria, so that beginning from the new month, we start to experience your bliss in a larger dimension, in Jesus’ name. Thank you for doing it, father. In Jesus’ name I pray.
Please share with others. God bless you.
