Hands Of The Provider

Focus: John 6:11 - KJV

11. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

John 21:9-13

It is of paramount importance that we understand that there is little we can achieve without Christ and that if we leave our anxieties to Him, He meets our needs. Everything that exists are under His care wherefore, He knows where provision lies per time. Even where it appears nonexistent, the little that He touches becomes much and sufficient to satisfy needs. When we leave Him out of the equation, our worries add nothing to us and will never solve the issues we have to contend with.

He displayed to us His ability to care for us when He turned the widow of one of the sons of the prophets to an oil merchant at the instance of Elisha. He also fed a multitude at a time with a young lad’s lunch. He commanded the sea to yield up a gold carrying fish to Peter to meet their needs. While His experienced fishermen disciples sought fish all night and caught nothing, without a hook or net, He made fish available at the shore for them to feast on. He is the same yesterday today and forever. If only we will turn the anxieties over to Him, He would touch that which we have and multiply it for us, sufficient to meet our needs and, with leftover.

On this very day, the Lord is saying to us that unless we turn our needs to Him and just trust Him to bear our weight (burden) completely, it will be us passing a vote of no confidence in Him and it will not be in our interest, at all. If, however, we will put all things into His hands and rest assured, we shall definitely see His goodness and enjoy His benefits fully. Giving Him our little as offering is a means to multiply the same back to us. Every voice that is suggesting to us a plan B is of the devil knowing that those who waver can receive nothing from Him. Put absolute reliance on Christ.

Please pray:

Father, I have no other God but you. Thank you for the things you have been doing in my life particularly your provisions when it appeared so hard for me. On this day, and going forward, I put my total trust in you to meet my needs. Please take my little and make it much, in Jesus’ name. From now on, be the provider of all my needs to meet them so that I may not lack any good thing, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
