Focus: Ephesians 4:7 - KJV
7. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:7-11
The grace of God is bestowed on believers with a view to having them engage the same to profit withal. The profiting is not about merchandizing towards self-aggrandizement but for the growth of the kingdom on earth. It is sad that many believers who appear to possess the grace have no incline of the purpose and they behave as if they were not gifted with it in the first place.
Daniel was gifted with the grace of knowing supernatural matters and expounding them to others. When the king of Babylon saw the strange handwriting on the wall and sought interpretation from Daniel, he was full of promises of compensation to Daniel. But because the gift was for the profiting of the kingdom and not Daniel, Daniel told the king to keep his gifts to himself.
Rather than go about desecrating the name of the Lord as well as His kingdom, our gifting is for us to shine the light of Christ to others. It is never for showmanship by sticking wealth in the faces of others where poverty is glaring, purchasing or obtaining raiment or amassing food at the expense of genuine kingdom pursuit. Let us therefore redirect more people unto their God.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for your gifts of the Holy Spirit over my life and that which you have caused me to do with it for the purpose of your kingdom. Kindly help me never to get carried away into forgetting that you gave me the gifts and not that I possess it of right to deal with it in any way I please. Help me to profit with it to the extent of populating your kingdom on earth the more and depopulating the kingdom of the enemy. Let your glory shine upon me and all by the reason of your grace upon my life, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
