Focus: Psalms 93:5 - KJV
5. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
Psalms 19:7-8
Our God is good, all the time. He is the giver of good things in whom there is neither variableness nor shadow of turning. He does good continually and can never be found in evil of any kind. His laws are perfect aimed towards the conversion of souls from evil to righteousness; He makes the simple wise, that is, those that are not full of themselves. And when we come to understand His statutes, we will discover that they are made for our own good and in the end, will bring rejoicing to our hearts. Indeed, His commandments make us see things in a better light.
When man said to us that we should avenge ourselves whenever we are wronged, one would have assumed that such was just. An aggressor gets the same thing he wills for, we would have assumed. But with the command of the Lord who is Love, whatsoever it is that anyone throws at us, we are to assume it is done in ignorance and respond with love. For instance, when a man slaps us on the right cheek and we turn to him the left, it is only a truly mad man that will slap the other cheek. If we add blessings and prayers to turning the other cheek, we are likely to win the aggressor over to wanting to know the secret of our meekness. There lies the eye enlightenment in the Lord’s command.
By and large, the testimony of our Lord is purity, love and kindness. God is asking us to disabuse the minds of as many as had been lied to into believing He is responsible for the ills that had befallen them. If not for the Lord who has been faithful to them despite their wrongs, the situation they complain about could have been worse. In actual fact, from the testimony out of the mouth of the devil himself, he is constantly on the prowl around and about the earth, looking for whom to devour. But for the hedge built around each of us, he would have struck us more devastatingly, on several occasions. Let us hold God pure and faithful. He is Love.

Loving father, I thank you for your protection over me and my loved ones, preventing the enemy from reaching any of us at any time. I submit my life completely unto you for your keep, please do not let the enemy come within one kilometer radius of my presence at any point in time. This very day, ward off every sign of the presence of darkness around me, dear Lord, in Jesus’ name. Let your light bring quality blessings my way today, in Jesus’ name.
