God Is Faithful To Keep You

Focus: 2 Timothy 4:17 - KJV

17. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

2 Timothy 4:9-18

It is the last day in the tenth month of the year again, already. If you are reading this, it is either the Lord has decided to delay His coming for the saints and you are fortunate to have been preserved; or the saints have been raptured and you are left behind. If the former is the case, the Lord that has kept you thus far, will see you through the tribulation of this time. If the latter, then you will need to be focused on resisting the devil fully so as not to end in hell with him. But the resistance and your salvation will require your own blood this time. For those who are fervent in Christ as of this day, Salute! For it is true that many have forsaken us and we had been kept in the mouth of the lion severally: but, like Paul, the Lord has kept and strengthened us so that we may preach the Gospel to those that were lost. Through us, the Lord has sharpened many children to become sons, currently thriving for the Lord. All glory to our God.

It is important to note that tribulation and trials had been promised us by our God. If there are no trials, how can there be victories? If we do not have battles, how is it said that we are victorious? The word of Christ to us is that in this world we shall face tribulations, but that we be of good cheer because, He, our eternal commander has overcome the world. His overcoming the world is victory already won on our behalf and it can never be reversed. Part of the battles confronting the believer includes desertion by they that had profited out of the grace of God upon his life; at times, it is desertion by ordinary family and friends; at other times it is strange sickness or infirmity in the body. The world has its different ways of putting the believer in the mouth of the lion, nonetheless, the Lord is the strength of the believer. There is no torment that lasts forever. If anything, the Lord has His ways of succoring His own. Some, He makes them triumph over their lions for all eyes to see, like Peter out of prison; others He uses them to dumbfound the wise by exposing the devil by them; while some others take their victory through death, like Christ.

The Lord wants us to know that affliction and persecution are things the believer cannot run away from in this world. If they did it to Christ, they would do it to us all. If life is too rosy with you, then you need to be very careful and check your salvation again. No matter what the world is throwing at you, there is victory in Christ for you. That lion will not tear you up but be your stepping stone to fulfilling destiny. For as long as you remain on the side of the Lord who never fails, you will have the victory and last laugh. Yes, whilst you were not looking, they had dug a pit that you may fall into it: but the lion of the tribe of Judah has decided that it is he that digs the pit that will fall into it. Yours is triumph through and through and you will never end up as prey in the mouth of the lion. As the month closes today, your night of weeping ends with it and your season of joy begins at the next sunrise, as the Lord lives who is faithful to perform it, in Jesus’ name.

SOLUTION: The place of the believer is not to cringe when confronted with tribulation. Stand firm in the Lord and await His salvation. Those who compromise in tribulation are not fit for the Kingdom. Let nothing separate you from the love of Christ. Tribulation is timed and will soon expire. Do not let it win.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for making me one of your children hated by the world. Please arise for me today and take me out of the mouth of the lion that has me clipped. Let your fire erupt to put every satanic lion to flight and set me free in the name of Jesus Christ. Let no power of hell be able to debar me from doing that which you have ordained me to do so that I may finish well and strong in Jesus’ name. Whatever needs be done to free me from my current turmoil and turbulence, father please do before the next sun will rise, that your name may be glorified the more in my life, in Jesus’ name. I therefore command every storm in my life, by your example, and say: Peace, be still, in the name of Jesus Christ.

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
