Focus: Psalms 20:6 - KJV
6. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Psalms 20:1-9
The anointing is the mark of the presence of the Spirit of the Lord in the life of an individual. And, wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. It goes without saying that the anointed of God operates in some special liberty when compared with others. The anointed has easier access to the throne room of God because of his marking and God rebukes kings for his sake to prevent him from being touched with any harm.
The beauty of the anointing can be viewed from the life of David. He had the liberty of protection. He singlehandedly killed a bear, a lion and a giant champion; his wrath alone caused the heart of Nabal to cease; when he appeared down and sought God’s assistance, he got it without much ado; even when he strayed and realized his folly, God restored him. Most importantly, in a contest between two anointed ones, because he stayed on course of being anointed, the king was rebuked for his sake who got his anointing replaced with the spirit of insanity.
The Lord wants us to rest assured that for as long as we are anointed and remain obedient to Him, we will be at liberty in many ways. Even when those we fear as being anointed prior decide to be oppressive, they pitch their battle against God and not necessarily the innocent anointed. Watch, before Saul could recruit so many to assail David, he must have told them things to make David look really bad. In the end, God is the righteous judge. Let us therefore, be careful not to judge anyone as they may be the Lord’s doyen.
Please pray:
Thank you, father for granting me so much liberty by your anointing. Please let the grace continue to multiply on me, in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever I will do, that will make your grace on me be substituted with darkness, please let it never happen to me, in Jesus’ name. From today, by reason of my being hinged to you, let not my asking ever fall to the ground again. Discomfit all the workers of darkness that are moving against me, so that I may, like David, sing the song of victory shortly, in Jesus’ name. Shake the foundations of the earth for my sake and put the enemies of my soul to flight, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
