Key verse: Ephesians 1:10
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Galatians 4:1-11
Through the times, there are great thinkers and super planners but none is as great as our God. There is nothing that happens outside His knowledge. He has a time for everything that happens on earth and understands them before they begin. He is always ahead of the enemy such that before the enemy starts in his ploy, the Lord already knows the end of his schemes.
When man committed sin and was estranged from the Lord, God planned his ransom at a fullness of time. When the time was really full, He arranged the Lord Jesus to die for our sin so that we may be reconciled unto Himself and stop being strangers to the heavenly Kingdom. The matter of man is however not fully settled until the Kingdom of God is fully replicated on earth as it is in Heaven. Hence, it is important for mankind to realize the truth and accept it for the purpose of God to be achieved on the earth. It however appears that not all of mankind can be salvaged in the matter at hand. Some are definitely not cut out to obey the Lord or relate with Him no matter what is used to preach to them. Others, though they will appear like they are on the Lord’s side but because their hearts are far from Him will equally miss out. God displayed this to us in the matter of His followers. As the enemy sought to destroy Peter, he sought Judas also. Christ did everything to show them the Kingdom. Even though Peter was saved, Judas was not. And Christ was quick to tell the Father that all that the Father gave to Him, He lost none except the son of perdition. Therefore, as the whole creatures await the fullness of time when all things on earth and in heaven will be combined in Christ, that is, when the new heaven and the new earth shall manifest, Christ will present all that the Father had given Him except the sons of perdition who would have gone the way of the wicked like Judas Iscariot.
Today is another day to reflect and make a choice. The fullness of time will soon come. No one knows it but the Father. One thing is clear though: it is nearer today than it was yesterday. But when Christ shall so come in the fullness of time, where will you be? Think about it and act fast today. Tomorrow may be too late.
Pray: Father, keep me shining for you until Christ comes in the fullness of time so that I may reign with Him and the saints in the name of Jesus Christ.
