Focus: Acts 14:22 - KJV
22. Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 15:32-41
It is the mind of God that as we grow as believers, we bring up others to follow our footsteps, even as we follow Christ. We are not to make them believe that the walk with the Spirit is without flaws; rather we should make them to know that there are traps in the ways of the believer aimed at putting him into trouble. Hence, like Jesus said: in this world the believer would face tribulation; we are to guide them to understand that and also that God will make for them the way of escape.
The way to discipling others is not to mentor from afar but to visit from time to time to check the well being of the fresh and upcoming believers; showing them things they ought to and those they ought not to do, per time. By so doing, they will feel loved and sought after and get endeared the more to the work of the Kingdom.
It is not enough that we become believers ourselves. God wants us to be fruitful and multiply. When we do, we cause the carriers of light to occupy the land. But we must ensure that those we disciple carry the light and not mere fables. It is then that we represent God.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for drawing me out of the darkness of the world into your marvelous light. Thank you for sustaining me in the light thus far. Do help me to multiply Christ into others through my ways in Christ, as He is multiplied in believers. Let my life not be a waste; let me be impactful in kingdom affairs to the glory of your name in Jesus’ name. Please bless me this day beyond what is ordinary, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
