Focus: Psalms 19:7-10 - KJV
7. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Psalms 19:7-14
Anyone that must lead a successful life has a need to follow God’s ways. God is perfect, with sure testimony that makes the simple ones wise. As against the rules of the enemy, when God makes statutes or commands, they are pure, balanced and rejoice the heart. When He judges, He does so righteously: never making the guilty go scot-free to blame the righteous instead. His measures are always adequate.
The alternative is to follow the ways of the world. What that does is to put lopsided things together to keep people in bondage and make them suffer for nothing. Those who go by the ways of the world have so much to suffer for. Even though the enemy tries to burden those in the ways of the Lord, he does not succeed as the Lord is a good
Shepherd to them that lean on Him. The choice between the two divides is the leaning. Those who lean on the world are tormented in their ways while those who lean on the Lord are comforted in His way.
It is most profiting to desire the Lord’s way as against the ways of the world. Submit unto God by following His directions. When the enemy comes against you, He will be there for you. Those who follow the ways of the world cannot depend on the Lord for a backing, unless they first renounce the devil, their overlord.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for being my Lord and my Savior. I recant the devil and everything that pertains to him fully today. Please hide me in you from now on better than ever, in Jesus’ name. Let your ways bring me great benefits from today, that the world may see the beauty in your ways through me, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
