Focus: John 12:46 - KJV

46. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

John 1:4-9

Darkness had taken over the earth by the introduction of Lucifer and his cohort angels into the realm. By a flood, the earth was consumed and every being that resided in it. Then God commanded and reintroduced His Light into the realm so that the earth was transformed within six days with a new being created to be in dominion thereof. Unfortunately, the domineering man submitted dominion to the prince of darkness and the earth returned to the state before the initial flood. Since then, man had done everything he knew but could not restore the light. Wherefore, the Lord declared that it is not by power nor might but by the Holy Spirit.

The same Spirit that reshaped and redeemed the earth in the beginning to ward off darkness then took over a virgin and she brought forth a man son. That man son was the son of the Spirit and therefore bore the Light in Him from conception. The Light began to shine anew in the realm of the earth through Him and He was never overcome with darkness, until of course, when He surrendered Himself to pay the ransom for the sin committed by man from his inception. Then He was subsumed in the darkness that man brought upon the earth even though He had no part in it. But after paying the wages for the sin of man, He rose again from the dead having received the reins over the earth from the prince of darkness. Jesus Christ was and remains the Light of the world.

The Lord wants us to know this and embrace peace in that it is only through the Light that we are able to overcome darkness. All those who believe in Christ, are equipped with His Light to overcome darkness no matter how thick it may be around them. It does not matter what the devil is trying to achieve around and about the believer, for as long as he remains in the Light of Christ, there is no overcoming him. There is therefore, good news for someone today: that seeming insurmountable situation will begin to fizzle out by the power in the Light of Christ and you will dance in victory, in Jesus’ name.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for the Light of Christ over my life and destiny. In the name of Jesus Christ, let everything called darkness and the issues thereof be driven far away from me from this day, never to regather again. Let your Light perpetual shine over my countenance that I may begin to experience the blessings in the Light better than ever from today in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
